How to use compassguides.info e-guides

Online travel guides are known as e-guides and just like e-mail, they are travel guidebooks on selected destinations which are published online, rather than as a costly printed book.

To use the guide is simple, select the e-guide you want to read and then just click on the section of the guide which interests you and read it!

You may prefer to download the web page and store it on your mobile phone, PDA or iPod. This allows you to read the guide on the move, which is often the case with travel guides.

Also, you may opt to print out certain parts of the guide that you need on the move, if you do not have a handheld device to store the pages on.

The information found in printed guides is similar to what we publish in our e-guides. Hence, you can look up hotels in a certain area or resturants, find out about medical treatment or visa regulations. All this information is clearly laid out in the index, which links to the relevant information.

By using these guides, you will save on average about US$40 on buying the printed guide. By their very nature, printed travel guidebooks are out of date by the time they come of the press.

We hope to expand the range of travel e-guidebooks available if the concept turns out to be a commercial success (guidebooks cost a lot of money to write and research, so please click on the google ads to keep these e-guides free and online.

This site is best viewed on a 1024x768 or higher screen resolution, though it has been designed to be also viewed easily on PDA devices and mobile phones with larger screens built-in. My personal favorite for browsing is Firefox and on some browsers you may need to increase the font size to view the text better.
